Compliance Status

We acknowledge partial compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to implement necessary improvements across our digital platforms.

Our approach aligns with the accessibility commitment and policy of our parent company, RELX, available at RELX Corporate Responsibility Policies.

Areas for Improvement

Whilst we are committed to ensuring the accessibility of our Services, we are aware there are areas for improvement which we are working to address, including:

• Website Portfolio: Some websites within our portfolio may not yet meet accessibility standards in areas such as text, typography, colour contrast, button size, focus states, alt text, page titles, media resources, animations, and background colours.
• Keyboard Navigation: Currently, users can partially navigate our website using only a keyboard. We are actively working to improve full keyboard accessibility across all pages and components.
• Colour Cues: For some content, users cannot solely rely on colour to convey information, indicate an action, prompt a response, or distinguish visual elements. We are working to address these issues.
• Video Player:
  • Keyboard accessibility: Some issues exist with navigating our video player via keyboard, which we are working to improve.
  • Captions: Some of our videos currently lack captions. We are continuously working to add captions.
  • Audio descriptions: Certain videos do not currently include audio descriptions. We are actively addressing this.

Our Efforts

GENXP's Services are being actively improved to achieve full compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA). We have and will continue to:

• Conduct audits across our Services to identify and address accessibility issues
• Maintain a prioritised roadmap for implementing accessibility enhancements
• Develop and deliver internal guidelines and training to support accessibility
• Engage third-party consultants and accessibility experts to assess and enhance our Services
